You might be asking yourselves who in their right minds would put together a term paper site or as we like to call it so we don’t get our asses sued by schools: an "academic research site” with a “Cheat off Asian students theme”? Well….we ask ourselve
s that same question.
The story of Asian Grade starts out in a land far far away in the time before times (Roughly, Fall 2005 in Tampa, Florida.) The idea just sort of came to us while enjoying delicious java chip frappuccinos at a local Starbucks. It was roughly a year after the group had graduated from college; the 5 of us were either in graduate school, thinking about graduate school, had a job or was in the process of thinking about getting a job. While slowly settling into a frozen caffeinated high we started to reminisce about the good old days of college; the good, the bad and the plain old bullshit. How we came up with the exact idea of Asian Grade is a lot like your first sexual encounter, it happened so quickly in a drunken haze we forgot all the little details (like how much you left for a tip) but it was roughly born out of the “Boy, I wish I didn’t have to deal with that bullshit” category. That bullshit of course being term papers.
Let’s be absolutely honest here for a second, everyone and their sister knows that term papers, essays or whatever you want to call them, when spotted on a syllabus, is essentially the teacher saying: “I have no fucking clue what to teach….and for that matter I don’t care what you learn…I have tenure and unless the school catches me on one of those Dateline sex predator shows I can’t get fired even if I tried.”
Term papers are for lack of better words: Academic filler. Time killers intended to take up a day, week and in some cases a semester of real learning and real teaching. The only difference between high school and college is that in high school the teachers are actually forced to read the essays written by their students just incase some idiot kid wrote about how the German’s invaded Pearl Harbor. In college it is a totally different story, essays are graded based upon how well that teacher knows the student who wrote the paper, and in larger classes (where the teacher doesn’t even know your name) the paper usually gets graded based on how well the first page looks!
In fact, the biggest academic con is not plagiarism by students, it’s the fact that teachers pretend to read 25-30 papers on the same subject, semester after semester, year after year…come on did you honestly think teachers enjoy your opinion of Robert Frost’s poems? Or actually wants to read 30 papers (10 pages a piece) about America’s involvement in World War I?
This con teachers pull cost the valuable time of students everywhere, no matter if in high school or in college (or graduate school for that matter) time gets wasted by writing a paper a teacher probably will not read in the first place. So the question that came to be during that fateful round of frappuccinos was: How could this problem of dealing with these bullshit term papers be alleviated? The answer was half solved already….
Every student if they admit to it or not has been on a term paper website, they might have even paid for a term paper online if it was important enough. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, every student in the world has put off a term paper that is due at 9am the next morning and it’s already ticking towards midnight. This procrastination wasn’t because of anything in particular that the student did or did not do; this procrastination is 100% the blame of the teacher’s bullshit assignments. It’s hard to get motivated when you know that A. This paper means nothing to you or the teacher, B. You will not learn one single thing when writing this paper (except how enough RedBull in a short amount of time can really fuck with your mind.)
As we said previously this problem was half solved. Term paper sites have existed since the beginning of the internet. However, how good these sites are is definitely an issue. Up until Asian Grade opened its doors there were about 3 legitimate free term paper sites on the web. Every one of them was next to impossible to navigate through let alone find a paper that fit your requirements. Even if you were lucky to fight through the advertisements that look like term paper search engines, the odds that you would find a quality paper were slim to none with slim running out the door. Sadly, the 3 legitimate sites that were talking about here were the best the web had to offer in finding a term paper.
If you were a real idiot (otherwise known as a freshmen) you accidentally stumbled upon the worse kind of term paper sites….sites that either offered free “term papers” that turned out to be copy / pasted out of a dictionary or term papers that were completed with the use of 3rd grade English skills. (A big hint is the British spelling of many words in the paper means some kid in India decided to write a paper and sell it online to a “stupid American.”) Were not going to even mention the pay per paper websites out there as 99.9% of them are a scam.
So our solution to the problem was a one stop shop ABSOLUTELY 100% FREE. Asian Grade is a complete academic “no bullshit” zone. We designed it to work and more importantly work FAST!
